About The Position

QUALIFICATIONS Education Associates of Applied Science degree in Radiology Experience/Skills At least one year Radiology experience preferred CT experience preferred or willing to cross train as CT Tech Required Licenses/Certifications Indiana State Board of Health (ISBH) Licensure American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration CPR Working Conditions Clean, well-lit working environment May work “on call” when needs require ROUTINE RESPONSIBILITIES Behavioral Expectations Consistently complies with established Behavioral Expectations Job Duties Performs Radiography and/or CT/MRI exams according to department protocols Obtains a history and appropriate diagnosis for exam 1. Completes all appropriate documentation Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate for patient’s age level, physical condition, mental condition, and emotional status Checks department requisitions and schedule and prioritizes appropriately Recognizes duties requiring completion but not directly assigned Regularly helps other staff Maintains a clean and organized work environment Department Specific Focus Ensures all charges are documented accurately and charged out correctly

Requirements

  • Associates of Applied Science degree in Radiology
  • Indiana State Board of Health (ISBH) Licensure
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration
  • CPR

Nice To Haves
