About The Position
The Radiologic Technologist, under general supervision of a Radiologist, performs radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols. Safely operates a variety of mobile and stationary x-ray units to produce high quality images under the supervision of a Radiologist and in accordance with ALARA principles
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- BLS
- MRT License from the State of Texas
- ARRT(R)
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of x-ray procedures to include diagnostic, fluoro, OR/C-Arm.
- Additional duties may include EKG, phlebotomy, obtaining vital signs and other tasks as needed.
- Rotating call.
- Assists with room set up and keeps the patient care areas well stocked.
