About The Position

Join our team as an Radiology Technologist! We are seeking an experienced and skilled Radiology Technologist to join our healthcare team! This position is PRN and will provide coverage for variable shifts at the following locations Riverton Radiology, SouthRidge Instacare, SouthRidge Peds, Riverton Ortho Clinic Incumbent may be hired on as a level I or II, depending on qualifications and experience. New Grads and Students Welcome to Apply! Essential Functions Practices within the scope of state licensure Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions. Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam. Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy. Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment. Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality. Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses concerns. Practices appropriate infection control and sterile techniques. Understands and operates equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images. Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions. Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and reporting equipment failures.

  • Currently enrolled in a JRCERT or AMA approved school of radiologic technology with documented completion of clinical and didactic training as required by state regulations.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
