About The Position

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months. The Radiology Supervisor II supervises daily routine on assigned shift in the interventional suit. Is responsible to the needs of the hospital and its staffing requirements Can operate as control tech when needed, supervise the transporters, technologists and is the primary control and quality technologist for all radiographic procedures. Operates all general radiographic equipment, and portable equipment in the Imaging department and operating room suites to include outpatient surgery center to obtain optimal radiographs of designated portions of the body to aid in diagnosis of disease. Directly responsible for adult, pediatric and neonatal care until patient is returned to patient room or until outpatient is discharged. Must have sound knowledge of all special procedures performed in the radiology department. Directly responsible for maintaining schedules for personnel and standby schedules. Directly responsible for maintaining the equipment and supplies required for performing special procedures in the department. Participates in the daily routine of Interventional Radiology procedures and including “On-Call”.

Requirements

  • Certificate from accredited program in Radiologic Technology
  • Thorough knowledge of radiologic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology, & human anatomy
  • ARRT (R) Registered
  • State of Florida DOH License
  • American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology
