Perform radiographic procedures as listed in adult and pediatric policy and procedure manual for department. These exams include fluoroscopy, general radiography, IVP’s, emergency room patients, and some trauma work. Perform all aspects of patient contact including greeting patient, exam information, proper positioning and marking of radiographs, and proper film development. Keep rooms stocked and cleaned at all times; equipment cleaned and properly maintained. Follow proper radiation safety guidelines as determined by the department. Learn and utilize computer systems including Cerner/Powerchart, PACS, and Radnet. May complete unit/department-specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.
