Job Summary and Responsibilities Conducts a clinical competency based educational program for students in the School of Radiologic Technology in accordance with JRCERT standards. Responsible for didactic instruction with course outlines and written evaluations of student progress. Plans, implements and coordinates all clinical education. Maintains all clinical records and student evaluation forms from all Clinical Education Centers. Prepares and updates all clinical course syllabi. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Uses a fair and standard system of grading to evaluate student’s didactic courses and clinical competencies. Evaluates student clinical progress every 6 months and keeps updated records of student clinical competency. Reviews student clinical assignment evaluations and counsels student when necessary.

Requirements

  • Graduate of JRCERT accredited program in Radiologic Technology., upon hire
  • Baccalaureate degree required by the JRCERT accreditation program., upon hire
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
  • Medical Radiographer: AR, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two (2) years practical experience in the professional discipline.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program.
