Summary: Responsible for the overall management of administrative, support and clinical operations for Imaging departments and/or Radiation Oncology.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as Radiology Technician and at least 2-3 years of Supervisory/Managerial experience.
- Must have strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and writing skills.
- PC experience to include Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.
- Certificate of completion/degree from an Accredited Radiology Program.
- ARRT and NJDEPE license required.
- CPR certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Baccalaureate Degree in Radiology Sciences or Business Administration a plus.
- Completion of minimum number of CE for continued certification/accreditation.
Responsibilities
- Manages staff to include completing performance appraisals, departmental goal setting, recruiting, orienting, coaching, counseling, and following through on action plans.
- Supports individual and departmental achievement through the use of recognition methods. Encourage and engage staff to ensure high levels of employee and patient satisfaction.
- Actively oversee and be actively involved in maintaining regulatory requirements.
- Oversees the quality improvement activities of the department to ensure the highest clinical quality and safety. Oversees successful NJDEP Quality Assurance Program to include adherence with FDA/MQSA and ACR requirements.
- Understands financial statements; develops and operates within budgetary guidelines. Able to justify variances and consistently identifies cost saving measures.
