About The Position

Assist the interventional radiologist, vascular surgeon, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, neuro-interventional radiologist, or neurosurgeon with performing interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to diagnostic and therapeutic angiography of the head and body, venography, fistula grams, central line placement, biopsies, drainages, and pain injections. Requirements

  • Associate's degree
  • Coursework/Training: Two-year technical program
  • Coursework/Training: Completion of an approved radiology technologist training program
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist or Upon hire: Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Upon hire: National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International
  • Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography or Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography or Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in Interventional Radiology
