Radiology Asst/Transporter, Special Procedures
About The Position
Reporting to the department Supervisor, thisposition transports patients for the Special Procedures Services as requestedby the department staff, Emergency room staff and physicians. Assists with avariety of duties in the department, including but not limited to, processingpaperwork, cleaning rooms, transporting patients, preparing patients for exams,stocking exam rooms, preparing exam rooms for next patient, obtainingorders/labs for technologist review, transporting specimens to laboratory,coordinating daily patient workflow, and assisting in areas identified bydepartment Supervisor. Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.
Requirements
- Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) Certification required.
Nice To Haves
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience as EMT or CNA preferred.
