About The Position

AvaMed Workforce is a Healthcare Staffing Agency that staffs all of California State Correctional Facilities. At the moment we are in URGENT need of a Radiologic Technologist to take on a Full-Time assignment at the correctional facility located in Stockton, CA Position Details: 40 hours per week Location: Stockton, CA Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-5:30pm or Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm (3 Consecutive Days of Orientation 8:00am-4:30pm) Rate: $44/hr ($1,760/week) Must have a license from the California Department of Public Health-Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB) Must have 1 full-year of experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist Job Description: Under the direction of the Institution's designee, the Temporary/Relief Temporary/Relief Radiologic Technologists duties/responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, the following requirements: a. Develop and process X-Ray exposures; b. Comply with all exam protocols as established by the Diagnostic Imaging department; c. Consult with Radiologist or ordering medical provider when necessary for purposes of clarification; d. Provide emergency medical support to medical providers in the event of allergic reaction to injected radiological contrast or any other medical emergency; e. Requirements

  • Must have a license from the California Department of Public Health-Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB)
  • Must have 1 full-year of experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities
