About The Position

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Full Time Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Birmingham Heart Clinic in Birmingham, AL. Responsibilities: Prepare instruments and supplies to perform procedures according to the physician’s documented preferred routine. Prepares the operating field for procedures. Performs routine and delegated duties. Assist the physician and surgical team before, during and after surgery and will assume responsibility and accountability for the preparation of operating rooms by providing support, assistance and maintenance of instruments and equipment. Assist RN staff in the pre-op and PACU areas. Why choose us? Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of Cath lab or surgical experience
  • BLS & ACLS certification
  • RT Certification is preferred but RCIS or RCVT may be accepted in lieu of RT

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred but not required
