About The Position

Western Vascular Institute is seeking a highly qualified Radiologic Technologist with a Cath Lab and Interventional focus to join our team of skilled vascular professionals. This role also functions as a Surgical Scrub Technician within our in-office angio-suite. Candidates with Interventional Radiology and/or Cardiac Cath Lab experience are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, patient-focused, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced procedural environment.

Requirements

• Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
• Fluoroscopic imaging and radiation safety
• Portable C-arm units
• Sterile technique and surgical scrubbing
• Patient monitoring and procedural support
• EMR/EHR systems (NextGen experience a plus)
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT certification
• Current Arizona Radiologic Technologist License (or ability to obtain)
• Current ACLS & BLS certification

Nice To Haves

• ARRT Advanced Certification in Cardiac-Interventional (CI) or Vascular-Interventional (VI)
• Prior Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Vascular Imaging experience
• Experience scrubbing interventional or vascular cases

Responsibilities

• Provide fluoroscopic guidance to physicians during endovascular and peripheral vascular interventions.
• Scrub and assist physicians during interventional and cath lab procedures.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Monitor and document patient vitals throughout procedures.
• Prepare patients and procedure rooms according to sterile and safety protocols.
• Maintain and track procedural supplies and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards within the in-office angio-suite.
• Proper disposal of contaminated and biohazard materials.
• Thorough cleaning and sanitization of the operating and procedure suites.
• Accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Other duties as assigned to support patient care and clinic operations.
