Radiologic Technologist Day/Midnight - $5K Sign On Bonus

The ChristianaCare Newark Campus Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Full Time Flex Radiologic Technologist, rotating day/midnight shifts. This position will work every 6th weekend and every third holiday. Shift: Week 1 – Sun, Mon, Tues (7a-7:30p) each day, Wed 8 hours (8a-4:30p). Week 2 – Sun, Mon, Tues 12 hours each day. Call shift - Sun, 7:30p-7:00p and (1-2 holidays per year as a 24hrs call shift)
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Radiology Science
- RT Technologist experience preferred
- ARRT Registered Technologist required
- Delaware license
- Certification in CPR
- Flexibility in hours and duties is required
Responsibilities
- Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
- Developing and identifying radiographs
- Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties
- Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Portables, Fluoro
- Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
- Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
- Operating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm
- Burn patient CD’s
