About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist I to join a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with minimal supervision while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with departmental and organizational standards. This role requires strong experience in emergency and trauma settings, operating room procedures, portable imaging, and pediatric patients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience
  • Strong experience in: Emergency Room (ER)
  • Trauma patients
  • Operating Room (OR)
  • Portable imaging
  • Pediatric patients
  • Ability to work independently in high-volume settings
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
  • Completion of required clinical training and A.R.R.T. requirements
  • Valid New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for the National Registry (ARRT) and successfully pass the examination

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations by accurately positioning patients and selecting appropriate technical factors.
  • Operate radiographic equipment and ensure high-quality imaging.
  • Minimize radiation exposure using proper cone and collimation techniques.
  • Perform portable radiographic exams in patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency departments.
  • Properly identify and label images with patient information and correct anatomical markers.
  • Prepare and assist with radiopaque contrast administration as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and complete requisitions per protocol.
  • Maintain a clean, organized imaging environment.
  • Support administrative functions including scheduling, patient instruction, and record maintenance.
  • Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers across diverse populations.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, safety standards, and professional competencies.
