About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking MRI Technologist for an exciting job in Hackensack, NJ.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey State MRI License
• ARRT (MRI) Certification
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with a minimum of 99% accuracy
• Schedule patients efficiently based on requisitions and workflow
• Prepare and administer contrast media accurately and safely
• Process images within 30 minutes of exam completion
• Translate physician orders into appropriate imaging protocols
• Maintain patient logs, equipment records, and supply inventory
• Collaborate with radiologists to optimize imaging protocols
• Serve as charge technologist when required
• Respond promptly to STAT and emergency imaging requests
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
• Meet productivity standards within 20% of monthly FTE average (excluding low-volume shifts)
• Ensure accurate exam charging and documentation
• Safely transport patients within the facility
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate when necessary
• Assist with cross-training and departmental coverage as needed
