About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer for an exciting job in Bronx, NY.
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year of General Radiographer experience.
- Interventional Radiology experience required.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program (Military training accepted).
- Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge and experience in CT (Computed Tomography).
Responsibilities
- Perform general radiographic procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Assist with Interventional Radiology procedures.
- Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain strict radiation safety standards and infection control practices.
- Operate radiographic equipment and ensure optimal image quality.
- Accurately document procedures in electronic medical records.
- Comply with HIPAA, departmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.
- Participate in quality assurance and safety initiatives.
