About The Position

Operates the radiographic equipment during interventional radiology procedures. Functions in collaboration with physicians, physician assistants and/or nurse practitioners, and nursing staff in support of Our Promise. Accountable for maintaining strict attention to safe patient care in accordance with organization and department policy, procedures and protocols. Knowledgeable of regulatory compliance standards and radiation safety, maintaining departmental compliance in collaboration with Radiation Safety Officer. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years radiology experience
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • ARRT Certified
  • Texas Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
  • Certified in BLS
  • PALS certification must be completed within 6 months of hire
