About The Position

This Radiation Therapist position at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL, involves simulating treatment set-ups, performing dosimetric calculations, and accurately delivering ionizing radiation as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. The role also includes assisting in patient care and management, and adhering to clinical, technical, and operational policies and procedures, all under the general supervision of the System Manager, Radiation Oncology. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT (R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) (Radiology Therapy) certification.
Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within one year of start date into position.
Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association
IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
