We are looking to hire a Cancer Center - Radiation Therapist! Relocation payments available!!! As a Cancer Center - Radiation Therapist at MercyOne Genesis, you will: Deliver radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with physician’s prescription Complete treatment preparation including simulation, immobilization, and block fabrication Coordinate care of patients receiving radiation therapy treatments Assure proper function of treatment equipment Provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the patients served on his/her assigned area Schedule: 32 hours per week - 4 days a week 7:30 am - 4: 00pm No weekends or holidays
Requirements
- Iowa Permit to Practice and ARRT
- Basic Life Support
- 3 year college Radiation Therapy program or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with physician’s prescription
- Complete treatment preparation including simulation, immobilization, and block fabrication
- Coordinate care of patients receiving radiation therapy treatments
- Assure proper function of treatment equipment
- Provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the patients served on his/her assigned area
