About The Position

Seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern radiation therapy equipment and a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
• ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy
• Active New Jersey Radiation Therapist License
• CPR Certification
• Strong patient care and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of Radiation Therapy experience (3–5 years preferred)
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and ARIA systems
• Experience in clinical/oncology outpatient settings

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor and document patient treatments and responses
• Obtain and review portal images; implement corrective measures as needed
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and patient positioning devices
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and care
• Perform treatment simulations and assist in treatment planning as required
• Execute dose calculations and monitor units per established protocols
• Ensure accurate documentation of treatment setup and delivery parameters
• Maintain quality assurance standards for treatment equipment and accessories
• Observe equipment performance and report malfunctions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment
• Coordinate patient scheduling and workflow efficiency
• Assist in training and supporting students or new staff as needed
