Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Radiation Therapy.
  • Must hold a current State of California license in Radiation Therapy Technology (CRT-Therapy).
  • Must hold a current license with the American Registry of Radiation Technologists (ARRT).
  • AHA or equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Completion of annual requirements of NorthBay Healthcare
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrates the True North values.   • Ability to function effectively under stress.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-year experience as a radiation therapist preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver prescribed radiation treatments to specific areas of the patient’s body in accordance with physician orders.
  • Operate radiation-producing equipment safely and accurately.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all treatment sessions, including treatment areas, radiation dosage, equipment settings, patient responses, and cumulative dose records.
  • Monitor patients during treatment and report any unusual reactions or concerns to the care team.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, dosimetrists, and medical physicists to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
