About The Position
Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. CMH's hospital facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. Responsibilities Provides patient services using imaging modalities for simulation and xray therapy equipment to treat patients for malignancies and pain. Applies principles of radiation protection while operating equipment to both localize treatment volume and the delivery of prescribed dosage in accordance with treatment plan. Documents components of the therapeutic care process in a concise, legible format consistent with departmental standards, policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of radiation therapy program required.
- American Registry of Radiation Therapy Technology certification required.
- Previous experience desired.
- Current BLS.
- Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
