About The Position

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Cancer Care Center of O'Fallon is seeking a PRN Radiation Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for the simulation and administration of radiation therapy by using a CT scanner and linear accelerator while following the prescription of a radiation oncologist. Requirements

  • Associates in Radiation Therapy or graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program is required. Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
  • Associates Degree required for those graduating from Radiation Therapy program after 12/31/14.
  • IEMA-Radiation Therapy (Illinois Emergency Management Association) is required in Illinois.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire.
  • ARRT registered in radiation therapy or successful completion of a Radiation Therapy program and eligible to take the certification exam in Radiation Therapy as defined by the American Registration of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • Colleague must complete and pass a certification and registration exam in accordance with the eligibility requirements of ARRT within one year of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
  • One year experience in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
