About The Position

Cancer Care Northwest is a full-spectrum private oncology group in the stunning Pacific Northwest. We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our multispecialty physician owned practice. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated full-time Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care by administering prescribed radiation therapy treatments. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with on-call duties as needed. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program
  • Must hold a current:
  • Washington: National ARRT certification and current WA Radiologic Technologist certification
  • Idaho: National ARRT certification
  • Must have valid CPR

Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatment in accordance with established protocols.
  • Accurately position patients and deliver the prescribed dose to correspond with the designated treatment plan.
  • Assist the radiation therapy department with patient care, treatment delivery, treatment records, radiation safety, and quality assurance functions.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance throughout the treatment process.
  • Operate and maintain radiation equipment to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, dosimetry, physics, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely treatment.
  • Proficient in the use of radiation therapy equipment and software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and excel in a float position, providing coverage across various locations as needed including the hospital setting.
  • Dedication to patient care and safety.
