JOB SUMMARY: A Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect care through the application of the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care rendered. The nurse will address physical, psychosocial, educational, and rehabilitative needs of the patient and family.

Requirements

  • Must posses a current RN license in the state of Georgia.
  • Computer skill a must.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses and prioritizes patient's physiological and psychological needs, formulates patient care plans, and modifies as needed.
  • Provides direct and indirect patient care utilizing evidence-based knowledge and skills.
  • Observes, evaluates, and documents patient progress.
  • Plans strategies for solving patient care problems with other patient care team members.
  • Provides health-related education and counseling for patients and family members.
