Short Description Consistently demonstrates the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care of all patients based on age specific criteria. Access EMR (Epic & Mosaic) for pertinent information. Identifies available resources for patients and initiates referrals as appropriate. Communicates patient outcomes to other health team members. Analyzes data to produce information about each patient’s care needs and to identify any additional information required. Assimilates quality improvement data reflective of nursing standards into clinical practice, monitors quality improvement issues, and participates in unit measures for cost containment. Maintains current Knowledge of Oncology nursing practice through reading journal articles, attending conferences or obtaining continuing education credits related to nursing practice, attending unit required education programs, and/or participating in professional organization(s).

Requirements

  • Oncology experience preferred
  • Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse).
  • Current American Heart Association, (AHA) BLS CPR (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
