About The Position

As a Radar Support Engineer, you will be part of a coordinated team of professionals responsible for supporting all radar systems deployed during the execution of a nationwide civil air traffic surveillance project. You will ensure the operational availability and reliability of advanced radar systems, providing both remote diagnostics and on-site corrective maintenance. This role is key to the deployment and replacement of approach and en-route surveillance radars across multiple locations throughout the United States. You must be available to work in shifts and be ready to travel at short notice whenever on-site intervention is required to resolve incidents that cannot be solved remotely.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in radar maintenance or air traffic surveillance systems is highly valued.
  • Experience in remote troubleshooting and onsite troubleshooting/ maintenance interventions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • Equivalent technical certifications and substantial relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with FAA or international air traffic surveillance standards.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality procedures in critical infrastructure environments.
  • Spanish language skills will be valued.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical incidents reported by users or operations teams for deployed radar systems PSR (NCSR), MSSR (CSR).
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and, when necessary, travel to radar sites for corrective maintenance interventions.
  • Document all actions taken, propose improvements to prevent recurrence of incidents, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to efficiently resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure radar systems meet required availability and performance standards as specified by clients.
  • Coordinate support activities in parallel across multiple sites, adapting to project schedules and operational needs.
  • Work as part of a coordinated team providing support to all deployed systems during the project.
