The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) Long Range Radars department is seeking a Radar Program CPT Lead to work onsite in Woburn, MA. Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable, and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. In this instance, you will be supporting the sustainment of a deployed system. What You Will Do As the Radar Program CPT Lead, you will play a critical role in providing innovative and trusted solutions that optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the programs Ground Based Surveillance products and services over their life cycle.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in budget and/or financial management.
  • Experience in proposal and/or capture efforts.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Nice To Haves

  • Project or functional leadership experience.
  • Experience using program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar tools, Risk/Opportunity Management tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing long-range plans to capitalize on future opportunities.
  • Experience managing various tasks, requirements, and commitments while successfully interfacing with numerous disciplines.
  • Experience with comprehensive planning skills with the ability to analyze technical and financial data and reports.
  • Exceptional judgment and decision-making.
  • Experience with Engineering PMER, SBT and Team Strength tools.

Responsibilities

  • Providing functional leadership and managing Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) teams for assigned programs.
  • Driving technical, schedule, and cost performance of LCE products and services by leveraging best practices, process optimization, advanced tools and techniques, and people skills. You will establish key processes, product metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contributing LCE inputs to proposals, supporting customer proposal negotiations, and executing program start-ups, including Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and performance baseline development. You will develop and collaborate on customer proposals, white papers, statements of work, and Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, including developing program tracking books, managing Estimates at Completion (EACs), and adhering to Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements.
  • Leveraging existing and emerging capabilities within LCE to improve program outcomes and encourage innovation.
  • Collaborating with Systems, Software, and Hardware design teams, as well as Engineering Cross Product Teams (CPTs), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Chief Engineers, Program Directors, Program Managers, and both national and international customers.
  • Supporting staffing demands, developing key personnel, and building long-term plans that align with LCE and Ground-Based Surveillance business models.
  • Managing Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities, including Integrated Master Plans/Integrated Master Schedules, EACs, program baselining, manpower allocation, and proposal support.
  • Domestic and international travel is required; travel is expected to be up to 10%.
