RADAR PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR DESCRIPTION Radar Program System Administrator will be responsible for supporting multiple radar applications and components of the MARITIME RADAR SYSTEM. The radar administrator will arrange or provide training, analysis, range modeling, integration of modules, and test and evaluation (T&E) of new radar system function. Additional efforts may include performance assessments, recommend improvements, location and procuring remote radar sites, aviation/drone integration/collaboration and improve system-level performance of radars critical to coastline security. Qualifications - Position requires general knowledge of Radar Systems with 2 + Years in Radar administration, and 5+ experience in radar analysis, and applied use. - Military radar experience is acceptable for experience. - Working on-site at radar facilities on a multi-contractor teams and interacting regularly with industry partners and government customers, the candidate will be expected to be technical, professional and ethical. - Strong technical background in radar function and performance, including tracking and discrimination techniques either aviation or maritime. - Ideally, candidate will have an interest in - and have received specialized training in radar environments, both for target detection and weather. Candidates with experience in radar analysis and/or simulation are preferred. - Demonstrate the ability to identify maritime targets of interest (TOI) - Demonstrated leadership abilities - Ability to motivate team members - Knowledge of the business and contributes to strategic decisions. - Knowledge of US Department of Defense and Intelligence Community (IC) processes, policies and guidance, including a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and maritime procedures. - Basic Systems Administration of Radar Applications. - Must have Unix operating system basic understanding and basic networking troubleshooting skills. Essential Functions - Collaborate with multiple agencies to provide forecasting and scheduling of customer deliveries, - Demonstrate and collaborate with multiple agencies to achieve streamlined communication, and enhance multi-agency collaboration - Ability to provide cost analysis to investors of the Radar Program. - Responsible for adherence to contracts, meeting the requirements, and flowing down specific requirements to subcontractors/suppliers. - Responsible for Scheduleing/Maintaining Physical Radar Sites, and Radar applications. - Must be available during unique times while operations are live. This could be late night or early morning. - Will be a part of an on call rotation. Hybrid working schedule when off site work function permits.
