The ideal candidate will have experience with radar systems, RF analysis, and electronic warfare concepts, along with proficiency in MATLAB-based modeling and simulation. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams in a classified environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in radar systems, electronic warfare, RF analysis, or related technical fields.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience developing or modifying engineering simulations using MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with radar signal processing concepts, including time-domain signal representations.
  • Knowledge of electronic attack (EA) and electronic protection (EP) techniques.
  • Understanding of RF propagation effects and their influence on radar system performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Ability to operate in a classified, on-site work environment.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical studies related to electromagnetic warfare and radar electromagnetic protection for missile defense systems.
  • Develop and utilize MATLAB-based simulations to model radar signal behavior, electronic attack (EA), and electronic protection (EP) techniques.
  • Implement and analyze radar signal models in the time domain at the in-phase and quadrature (I/Q) signal level.
  • Evaluate RF propagation effects and their impact on radar and electronic warfare system performance.
  • Support analysis of electromagnetic threats and system vulnerabilities affecting radar system survivability.
  • Generate technical reports, briefings, and engineering documentation summarizing study results and modeling outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support system-level electromagnetic survivability assessments.
  • Contribute to the development, improvement, and extension of simulation tools used to evaluate radar and electronic warfare system performance.
