About The Position

The Systems Engineering and Integration Team is seeking a Radar Electromagnetic Warfare Analyst. The Radar Electromagnetic Warfare Analyst will support engineering studies and modeling efforts related to electromagnetic warfare applications for missile defense systems. The role focuses on assisting with the development and use of MATLAB-based simulations that model radar signals and electronic warfare interactions at the in-phase and quadrature (I/Q) level. This position provides an opportunity to develop expertise in radar systems, electronic attack and protection techniques, and RF propagation modeling while working within a classified engineering environment.

Requirements

  • 0–10 years of relevant experience (internships or research experience acceptable).
  • Ability to program in MATLAB.
  • Basic understanding of radar systems or radar signal processing fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with RF concepts and signal propagation.
  • Ability to work in a classified on-site environment.
  • Active Secret security clearance at time of hire.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework or project experience involving radar systems, RF engineering, or signal processing.
  • Exposure to electronic warfare concepts, including electronic attack and electronic protection.
  • Experience working with I/Q signal representations or time-domain signal modeling.
  • Familiarity with Simulink, Python, or C/C++.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Agile experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineering studies related to electromagnetic warfare and radar electromagnetic protection.
  • Assist in the development and execution of MATLAB-based simulations that model radar signal behavior and electronic warfare effects.
  • Implement radar signal models in the time domain using in-phase and quadrature (I/Q) representations.
  • Support analysis of electronic attack (EA) and electronic protection (EP) concepts.
  • Assist with modeling of RF propagation effects and their impact on radar performance.
  • Perform data analysis, verification, and validation of simulation outputs.
  • Contribute to technical reports and engineering documentation describing analysis results.
  • Work with senior engineers and analysts to improve simulation models and analysis methods.

Benefits

  • An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development.
  • Research oriented work, alongside award winning teams developing practical solutions for our nation’s security
  • Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule)
  • Competitive benefits, including 401k matching, flex time off, paid parental leave, healthcare benefits, health & wellness programs, employee resource and social groups, and more
