About The Position

The outpatient Radiology Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures for outpatients that contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. You will demonstrate knowledge of radiology information and imaging systems to correctly order exams, supplies and other data input. In this role, you will select proper technical factors based on procedure, diagnosis, age, size, weight and anatomical differences and general health status of patients. The above summary of accountabilities is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. It should not be considered exhaustive.
Requirements
- Completed formal radiologic technology training at an AMA approved school or a school that is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC)
- Must be registered by the ARRT
- Current CPR
