About The Position

Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, and continually growing institution, constantly expanding its quality and reach of care to patients and communities. The Rad Tech position involves operating X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This role is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and to work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. Specifically, the Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty-five (35) years of age.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
• Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
