About The Position
Essential Responsibilities: Instruction & Programming Deliver personalized private lessons, dynamic group clinics, and skill-building drills in both tennis and pickleball that inspire player development and engagement Implement innovative programming tailored to diverse age groups, abilities, and guest preferences across all racquet sports Assist with seasonal programming, special events, and tournaments that enhance the resort's recreational offerings Guest Experience & Service Excellence Anticipate and fulfill all tennis and pickleball needs with the warmth, attentiveness, and discretion expected at a Five-Star property Build rapport with returning guests and members, providing continuity and personalized service Serve as an ambassador for the racquets program, promoting participation and fostering a welcoming club atmosphere Participate actively in member and guest events, contributing to the resort's social calendar Operations & Facility Management Maintain pristine court conditions through regular inspections and coordination with maintenance teams Ensure all equipment, amenities, and playing surfaces meet the highest safety and quality standards Manage pro shop operations, lesson scheduling, and guest communications with meticulous attention to detail Qualifications: Professional certification from a recognized tennis organization (USPTA, PTR, or equivalent); pickleball certification (PPR, IPTPA, or equivalent) preferred Minimum two years' experience as a Tennis or Racquets Professional, preferably in a luxury resort or private club setting Demonstrated expertise in both tennis and pickleball instruction Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for teaching and guest service Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by seasonal programming Hourly Rate : $19 - $35 / hour based on hybrid rate of on-court and off-court activities. Based on experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- Professional certification from a recognized tennis organization (USPTA, PTR, or equivalent)
- Minimum two years' experience as a Tennis or Racquets Professional, preferably in a luxury resort or private club setting
- Demonstrated expertise in both tennis and pickleball instruction
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for teaching and guest service
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by seasonal programming

- pickleball certification (PPR, IPTPA, or equivalent) preferred
