Requirements

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair skills.
• Technical training through apprenticeships, RSES, trade school, or equivalent experience.
• EPA Certification and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience working with a variety of refrigerants.
• A commitment to quality, strong problem‑solving abilities, and a customer‑focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Servicing commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems—walk‑ins, freezers, reach‑ins, rack systems, and more.
• Performing preventative maintenance to ensure peak equipment performance.
• Troubleshooting and repairing systems with confidence and minimal supervision.
• Providing excellent customer service while representing Five Star Refrigeration in the field.
• Following all safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Participating in on‑call rotations in a 24/7 service environment (with premium pay for on‑call shifts).
• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records.
• Assisting in other service areas when needed to support the team.
