About The Position

As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in supporting EOS operations by managing the flow of materials and equipment within our facilities. You will ensure accurate inventory control, timely movement of goods, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Your work will directly contribute to the success of large-scale IT deployments and rack assembly projects.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or logistics.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic data entry.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (certification preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic understanding of IT hardware components (servers, switches, cabling) is an advantage.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in clean-room or controlled environments.
  • Knowledge of data center operations or IT deployment logistics.
  • Familiarity with structured cabling and labeling standards.
  • Previous experience in global or multi-site logistics operations.
  • Exposure to Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
  • Forklift certification or other material handling credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and equipment against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and traceability.
  • Prepare and stage materials for rack assembly and network deployment projects.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) to move goods within the facility.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with EOS quality standards and clean-room protocols where applicable.
  • Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and logistics teams to meet project timelines.
  • Document material movements and update inventory systems accurately.
  • Identify and report damaged or non-conforming materials promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse and material handling processes.
