The primary function of Rack Auditor & Cycle Counter is to work with the Supply Chain Team by auditing, organizing, and managing racks. The ability to work together as a team is crucial to this role as it will be a team of two. Taking ownership and accountability of the racks throughout the site by being hands on 90% of the workday is a requirement. In this function you will: Complete daily rack audits throughout the production facility assure the racks are meeting the material presentation and EHS standards. Partnering with Kanban and Non-Stock planners to address issues identified in rack audit processes. Collaborate with SCM team to investigate and act on projects defined as a result of rack audit findings. Collaborating with Production Employees and Supervisors for proper placement of material and to retrieve parts when stored in overflow locations. Responsible for cycling purchased parts to Kanban (KX) or Non-Stock (NX) location using the proper power industrial equipment. Recognizing when urgent parts are submitted as stock out or stock low in the shortage tool, going to the location to check part availability, and taking this information to the planning teams.
