About The Position

Maintain a clean and sanitary environment throughout the shift and maintain an expected line speed while performing production tasks and other duties as assigned by Management. Perform all assignments in accordance with established policies, procedures and best practices with specific adherence to SOPs and GMPs Ensure that product specifications and production schedule are adhered to. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and keep work areas and equipment neat and clean consistently throughout shift. Communicate problems such as equipment failure, quality issues, food safety or safety hazards immediately to your Shift Lead. Maintain the work flow by monitoring each step of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. Communicates frequently with lead, supervisor or manager; other material handlers, machine operators and warehouse employees. Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure quality of product based on position responsibilities All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Accurate completion of paperwork.
  • Must be able to Read, Write and Speak English
  • Effective math skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Interpersonal and team skills for working with employees at all levels within the company.
  • Ability to lift on a continuing basis.
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack.
  • Ability to work in a safe manner in a production environment with safety hazards.
  • Ability to tolerate fluctuating temperatures in a loud noise production environment.
