Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in procurement, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with engineering materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to assess supplier performance and optimize procurement strategies.
  • International travel to Munters locations (e.g., Virginia, Texas, Ireland, Italy) and supplier sites is required based on project needs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20–30% of the time, with flexibility to engage across time zones and diverse cultural environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing initiatives from concept phase to prototype validation, managing timelines, deliverables, and supplier readiness.
  • Support onboarding and capacity-building efforts with new or existing suppliers to meet technical, quality, and compliance expectations
  • Researching and selecting vendors that meet quality, cost, and innovation requirements.
  • Establishing agreements with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Working closely with engineers and scientists to understand material needs and sourcing strategies.
  • Keeping up with industry trends to identify new sourcing opportunities.
  • Finding ways to reduce expenses while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ensuring suppliers adhere to regulatory and ethical standards.
