As a R&D Samples and NTG Coordinator, you will be part of the NA Sample Center and collaborate to provide sample management services for business and R&D teams in North America. Requirements

• Hold a High School diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics, Customer Service, Procurement and/or similar area.
• Have experience with SAP (COBALT, GIMA, SPASS, PASTIS are a plus), as well as Master Data and SAP order management (sales order and purchase orders) for domestic, import, and export orders.
• Possess the ability to work with a cross functional team and various systems for the common purpose of executing a fast and efficient sample process.

Nice To Haves

• Have experience with R&D Sample and Non-Chemical Goods Order and knowledge of BASF purchasing and shipping policies, requirements, and guidelines it will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing the entire process for R&D Samples and Non-Chemical Goods from receipt of request through successful delivery to destination, demonstrating effective time management, prioritization, and ability to meet deadlines. Communicate key events and status as required, identify areas for improvement with current processes, raise awareness to management, and help develop solutions.
• Creating and managing sales orders to enable domestic and export shipping to BASF and 3rd party locations. Create and manage purchase orders to enable import clearance for shipments from BASF and 3rd party locations.
• Demonstrating effective order management by monitoring various SAP reports, correctly assigning Usage Codes within sales orders, and ensuring orders close to completion.
• Identifying or creating appropriate NLAG numbers to use for Non-Chemical Goods.
• Collaborate with Product Regulatory, Trade Compliance, and Transportation teams to ensure the timely delivery of all sample requests.
• Cultivating positive interactions with teammates, customers, global colleagues, and other internal partners to make appropriate decisions, remove obstacles that may impact BASF’s ability to satisfy demands, and provide streamlined communication on order status.
