Over two years, our graduate programme will challenge and support you to grow professionally and personally. You will have stretching rotations supporting areas in CMC plasmid and mRNA upstream and downstream process development to support therapeutic and vaccine drug development. Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Biological Sciences/Engineering from a college/university.
  • Preferred discipline area in biology, microbiology, biochemistry, biochemical engineering, chemical engineering.
  • Graduation by August 2026.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English
  • Growth mindset with a curiosity to learn.
  • Self-starter with can-do attitude.
  • Possess sharp analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Versatility to adapt to a complex, fast moving and challenging environment.
  • Exhibit confidence and strong communication skills to express own opinions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and execution of experimental studies to advance process development, completing experiments and documenting results in electronic lab notebooks within agreed timeframes. Activities may include support for plasmid DNA and mRNA workflows, associated documentation, and other process development tasks.
  • Manage and prioritize workload to meet to meet agreed deadlines, efficiently handling multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Build expertise in drug development process, including plasmid DNA, mRNA biology; methods to improve product quality; and the use of Design of Experiments (DOE), statistical analysis, and high-throughput automation for process improvement.
  • Take ownership of problems and seek proactive solutions, discussing issues with your line manager to obtain advice and endorsement for the proposed approach
  • Build effective working relationships and contribute to cross functional networks across the organization
  • Complete mandatory training and maintain up to date training records.
