About The Position

This position is responsible for performing new product development, material property and processing investigations to facilitate objectives of plant production and process development.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on chemistry system as it relates to improved plant performance, cost reduction, and optimization
  • Source, develop, and test new chemistry systems for thermoset composite materials
  • Develop and implement new quality control and R&D testing (incoming, in-process, and finished materials)
  • Assist with raw material sourcing
  • Ensure best practices collecting experimental data
  • Contribution to team GMP, safety roles, and mentoring of level 1 engineers
  • R&D Laboratory equipment operation to produce samples for studies
  • R&D Laboratory cleanliness and organization
  • Quality Laboratory testing and optimization studies as needed
  • Contribute and participate in knowledge management methods and policies
  • Keep work area clean and orderly
  • Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Additional duties as assigned by management
