About The Position

The individual will collaborate closely with Data Analyst of the PCG Product Systems Data Group to use data science to help develop data reports and dashboards. Intern will also contribute to digital initiatives and data visualization projects that support R&D functions. The individual will collaborate closely with Analyst and Key PCG tools to track data trends and key metrics. The individual will be assigned Technical Projects that require the application of data science and data analytics skills. A summary of projects will be presented at the conclusion of the internship. Intern will participate in several special networking and learning events throughout their assignment. This opportunity will allow the intern to gain experience in work groups, as well as working with other Interns and Co-ops. The position will start in May 2026. The individual selected for this role will work at the new Sherwin-Williams Morikis Global Technology Center in Brecksville, Ohio. This position is 100% on-site. There will be no relocation assistance. All hires must go through a background check before the start of employment. Responsibilities This position is a comprehensive 12-week learning experience in Performance Coatings Group R&D Division Students will be assigned to and will be given a mentor Interns will also be given a Technical Project in which they will present at the end of their assignment Interns will be active participants on a project team and will have periodic reviews to evaluate their performance Interns will participate in several special networking and learning events throughout their assignment This opportunity will allow interns to gain experience in work groups, as well as working with other Interns and Co-ops Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (“STEM”) at the time of the internship program
  • Experience in Python, SQL, Data Visualization Tools (Tableau)
  • Understanding of statistical modeling, data wrangling, data cleaning and data transformation
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be willing to work up to 40 hours per week for a total 12 weeks, from May-August 2026, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Minimum of 2.8 GPA

Nice To Haves

  • Previously completed an internship or co-op program
  • Pursuing a bachelor's in data science or master's degree in data science
