About The Position

The R&D Lab Technician supports the development and testing of new products, ingredients, and packaging materials. This role involves hands-on work in the lab and pilot plant, accurate data collection, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure successful product scale-up.

Requirements

• Strong math skills (must be able to calculate measurements, percentages, and batch sizes accurately).
• Detail-oriented and organized in data collection and documentation.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Experience in a lab or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute product formulations and trials at lab and pilot scale.
• Assist in testing new ingredients, raw materials, and packaging for performance and quality.
• Collect and record accurate test data , including measurements, observations, and results.
• Participate in sensory evaluations , record feedback, and report findings.
• Maintain lab equipment, tools, and testing areas in a safe and clean condition.
• Support ingredient sourcing and coordinate with suppliers for sample testing.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality Assurance teams to ensure smooth formula scale-up from lab to production.
