About The Position

A leading technology company seeks an R&D Technical Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be part of the NPI Engineering team that performs electrical, software, and mechanical activities, working between R&D and Manufacturing to design and implement the manufacturing processes for new products. Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment, or equivalent.
General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing.
Experience in electronic mechanical assembly, including torque drivers.
Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues effectively.

Nice To Haves

An Associate’s Degree in Electronics, or higher-level education or certifications in electronics, is preferred.
Classroom or work experience using electronic test equipment, specifically Oscilloscopes and Probes

Responsibilities

Work in an Electrical Static Discharge (ESD) controlled environment.
Turn on and troubleshoot PCA’s.
Build/assemble full instrument prototypes.
Calibrate and run automated tests on prototypes.
Troubleshoot and repair prototypes.
Build, troubleshoot, and maintain test racks containing electronic test and measurement equipment.
Execute automated performance characterization tests on prototypes at temperature and humidity and collect characterization data.
Help to maintain the NPI Lab environment.
