This role offers a range of $87,000 to $95,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations. The Analytical Chemist will perform analytical tests with some direction from the Lab Manager and/or project leader. Understands method development and can apply the principles to non-routine testing. Have potential to become a project leader and be responsible for shepherding a project form inception through preparation/submission of report. Will maintain, organize and lead multiple projects at a time. Highly organized, have knowledge of industry standards, such that he/she can move analytical methods towards work instructions, regulated methods, SOPs, and/or ASTMs. Proficiency will be required in the following: GC/MS, GC/FID, GCqTof, HRMS or LC/MS/MS as well as in the use of GC-FID, GC-Mass Spectrometry, FTIR, DSC, UV-Vis and particle size analysis.
