The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States. Principal Purpose of Position: Partner with one or more of our Account Representatives (AR) to assist with quotes and proposals for our consumer clients. This will involve receiving completed fact-finders from the AR and then inputting that information into our rating software as a first step. Help determine the best options for policy placement for each customer during the quoting process, thorough understanding of policy coverages and options. During this process the AR may have additional questions or may make requests for changes to the quotes provided. Work with AR to handle additional questions or requests regarding quote changes. Assess risks against available carriers and products to determine the best option for each customer. Quote automobile, property (home, renters, condo, etc.), umbrella, motorcycle, boat, RV as well as other lines from time to time. Working closely with AR to ensure a quick and accurate proposal for their insured Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or related work experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
  • Insurance license for both Property and Casualty required within 90 days of joining the Holman organization.
  • Property and Casualty personal lines quoting experience is preferred.
  • Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and thorough with tasks and follow-ups.
  • Some flexibility in work schedule. This position may require some evening and Saturday hours.
  • Become acquainted with, and a robust user of, the Agency Management System (AMS360) and our prospect management platform, Sales Force. This may include attending both live and recorded training sessions as well as independent study and 1-1 training in office.
  • Adaptability. Candidates must have a “get it done” attitude and be willing to adapt and change as the business grows.
  • Focused on learning and personal growth.
  • Having a strong knowledge of the carriers and their underwriting guidelines in order to properly assess and place the risk.
  • Work in a very time-sensitive environment with requirements for quote turn-around and responsiveness to other members of the team.
  • Individuals must be goal driven, self-motivated and comfortable with individual accountability while also being collaborative and comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer care to all prospects and clients of the business.
  • Ability to interact comfortably, both over the phone and in person, with prospects, clients, referral sources and business colleagues both in and outside of the Holman group of companies.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with other Account Representatives and customer service personnel as needed to help the business consistently meet its growth and service objectives.
  • Assist and provide training to both new and current employees on the business operating system and processes with the rest of the frontline.

Nice To Haves
