Offer Development is responsible for the development and execution of contracting strategies for our customers. This includes the development and delivery of contracting strategies (contracting options / parameters by customer segment), customer analytics (preparation of customer-ready analytics and materials for the field to support customer updates and negotiations) and CPC governance (rules and processes for approving deal exceptions). The Offer Development team works in close collaboration with Field Sales, Account Management, Contract Strategy, Contract Management, and other partners such as Legal, Finance, Health Care Compliance, Government Compliance, etc. to put together the most appropriate offering (products, pricing, solutions and T&Cs) for the customer. Position Overview: The Quoting Analyst Manager – Capital will be responsible for coordinating the Capital workflow / workload across the Trauma Quoting Analysts, ensuring best practice sharing / skill development across the Quoting Analysts, and ensuring adherence to the approved strategies / objectives of Pricing Strategy and Offer Development. In addition, the Quoting Analyst Manager - Capital is responsible for creating /developing / refining the Capital Offer Development models, tools, training materials and standard operating procedures as necessary. In addition, as the Trauma Capital portfolio grows, this position may expand to managing analysts, which will include identifying high performers and creating opportunities for them to lead, identifying low performing or struggling analysts and coaching, and resolving interpersonal conflicts, confusion or misalignment within the team. The Quoting Analyst Manager – Capital will also be responsible for providing analytics in support of our Trauma implant agreements. The primary objectives of the Offer Development team are to: • Protect the margins of the business by taking a holistic view of the levers that affect profitability including products, prices, solutions and T&Cs • Better align the offers we submit with the needs of the customer segment and the strategies of the business • Reduce time spent by Field Sales on contract development to enhance focus on customers • Improve our customers’ experience

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. A concentration in Finance, Business, Economics, or Sales & Marketing is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience with at least 3 years in Contract Management, Finance, Pricing, Operations, Logistics, or another related field required.
  • Understanding of the digital/robotics healthcare market is required
  • Experience with contract execution, performance monitoring, project ownership and management within offer development is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and ability to self-manage in a complex / time sensitive environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills to manage an analyst pool located across multiple JJMT campuses
  • Self-starter and strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to implement strategies based on the Company’s goals and internal capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, with ability to make the complex simple when explaining complex analytical findings to non-analytical business partners.
  • Ability to use detailed financial analyses and high-level pattern recognition to drive performance is required
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment and build support across a complex set of stakeholders
  • High Proficiency in MS Excel, Salesforce, and Qlik with experience extracting detailed data sets from various sources and reporting out via dashboard summaries
  • A minimum of 3 days in the office per week is required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive performance related to contracting, pricing, margin, growth and service goals for JJMT Capital overall
  • Ensuring appropriate Capital work assignment and workload balancing across the Quoting Analyst team and provide coaching, mentoring and feedback to staff
  • Triaging requests, prioritizing workload during constraints, and communicating realistic deliverable dates
  • Identifying areas of disconnect / process failure and work with the Offer Development Leadership to resolve
  • Driving adherence to protocols and business rules while still respecting individual needs
  • Managing through constructive conflict
  • Ensuring best practice sharing and skill development across the Quoting Analyst pool
  • Soliciting from and providing regular feedback to the Offer Development Leadership to ensure continuous improvement
  • Owning the development and maintenance of Offer Development Capital models, tools, training materials and operating processes.
  • Partnering with Pricing Strategy, Marketing, Account Management, and Offer Development to lead the execution of newly developed contract offerings, product launches, and initiatives pertaining to the Capital Space
  • Collaborating with the Offer Development team to gain insight into trends and share best practices
  • Leveraging product expertise and business acumen to develop robust reporting and visualizations for Offer Development leadership
  • Develop rigorous, error-proof offers and analysis, maintaining a high attention to detail, while still seeing the emerging patterns, trends and insights across offers
  • Display a high degree of ownership for the quality of the offer and the fit with our strategic and financial objectives
