About The Position

The Quoter position oversees the entire quoting process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of proposals, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to secure the best pricing and acquire projects/orders. This Quoter role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally. The Quoter plays a key role in supporting project planning, supplier communication, and data accuracy.

Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage quotation packages, considering feasibility, technical requirements, financial aspects, and interfaces with project planning
Prepare and share price requests with suppliers and subcontractors
Calculate project costs, including material, personnel, and other resources
Produce initial work schedules
Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Address client inquiries and concerns promptly
Work closely with project managers, technical teams, buyers, and other internal stakeholders
Ensure smooth handover of project files to project managers
Manage vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and delivery times
Interact with vendors to obtain special pricing and special-order items
Contribute to development of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Ensure accuracy in project databases
Maintain records of quotes, RFQs, and other relevant documents
