About The Position

Under general supervision, the Quotation Specialist supports our national corporate accounts by cross-referencing customer provided information with our historical product data to identify market basket opportunities. This role ensures we have a sufficient margin on products that are price fixed for a specific time period.

Requirements

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and zero (0) to three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
Ability to use Microsoft Office.
Significant knowledge of Motion Industries product.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Effective proofreading skills.
Service oriented.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Prepares the customer's data to fit within our system standards.
Cross-references customer data with our market basket tool to pull historical cost data on products.
Obtains quoted costs from suppliers.
Submits finalized data to be reviewed.
Maintains vendor email information within a contact list.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Reviews and manipulates customers' data in various Microsoft Applications.
